We took the river boats into this small village in the north eastern corner of the country. Similar to the amazon, the rivers of Tortuguero National Park are brimming with life we have to explore. But this place has more to explore than fresh water rivers, on the other side of the town is the salty surf of the Caribbean ocean and a world class breeding grounds for thousands of sea turtles.
