We are traveling around the world overland by train and we are currently in Turkey! We are taking a break from our around the world trip by rail to enjoy almost 2 months in Turkey, exploring nearly the whole country we will be enjoying the metropolis' of Modern Turkey, discovering ancient Greek and Roman cities, exploring the natural beauty and diving into mankind's pre-history past.

We made it to Konya, the birthplace of the whirling dervishes and the closest city to the famous proto-city, Çatalhöyük. Wondering what to do in Konya? Well we were there for 2 days and really enjoyed ourselves. There were not a lot of foreign tourists so it felt like a much more local experience. We explored the Panorama museum, went to the Mevlana museum, saw Rumi's tomb, and saw the original whirling dervishes. We will show you how to get to Catalhoyuk without a rental car and much much more.
