Come Aboard for an Exclusive First Look at Royal Caribbean’s Newest Ship Star of the Seas
We're onboard Star of the Seas from the shipyard where the finishing touches are being made before her highly anticipated debut next month!
We had the ✨exclusive✨ opportunity to hop onboard for a sneak peek, and we're bringing you along. 👀
1. Royal Promenade: The heart of the ship, featuring a number of popular venues like Boleros, Spotlight Karaoke, Sorrento's and the Schooner Bar. PLUS the return of The Pearl - the Promenade's standout feature.
2. AquaDome: A soaring glass dome containing the Aquatheater between The Overlook Pods and Rye & Bean coffee shop, at the front of the ship.
3. Adventure Ocean: The ship's bustling kids' club, boasting some of the best facilities and age-appropriate programming at sea with zones for babies and infants, 3-5 year olds and 6-12s. Teens get their own club at Social 020, a separate space next to Adventure Ocean on Deck 6.
4. Surfside Neighborhood: The ship's family neighborhood, with attractions like Splashaway Bay and family-friendly venues including Sugar Beach, Pier 7 and Surfside Eatery and Lemon Coast.
5. Surfside Family Suite: A 269-square-foot suite in the Surfside Neighborhood -- complete with a split bathroom and cozy kids' nook with sofa.
6. Sunset Suite: Included in the Sky Tier, guests of these suites receive perks like included internet, concierge services, and priority reservations and embarkation/disembarkation.
7. Swim & Tonic: Located in the adults-only Hideaway, it's the ship’s pool with a swim-up bar.
8. The Hideaway: The adults-only haven boasts an infinity pool suspended 135 feet above the ocean -- as well as the Swim & Tonic swim-up bar.
9. Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade: Dozens of TVs, gameday favorite bites & plenty of games.
10. Hooked Seafood: A seafood restaurant within the AquaDome boasting a raw bar and New England-style fish and shellfish dishes.
11. Absolute Zero: The ship’s ice arena and (along with Icon of the Seas) the cruise line’s largest -- set to debut the new "SOL," performed by Royal Caribbean's largest ice-skating cast yet.
12. Back to the Future The Musical: Performed in the two-story Royal Theater, the show is inspired by the classic 1985 time-travel film and will feature classic rock hits and special effects.
13. Royal Bling: Shop from a curated selection of luxury goods, like jewelry and accessories.
