Welcome to our channel. Thanks for checking us out!
We are traveling around the world overland by train and we are currently in Turkey! We are taking a break from our around the world trip by rail to enjoy almost 2 months in Turkey, exploring nearly the whole country we will be enjoying the metropolis' of Modern Turkey, discovering ancient Greek and Roman cities, exploring the natural beauty and diving into mankind's pre-history past.

We made it to the instagram famous town of Pamukkale, the Cotton Castle. Overrun with instagram tourists trying to make it look like they have it all to themselves....we joined the crowd and overpaid to visit this overblown site. Luckily, we explored beyond what the average visitor cares to see and got most of the Hierapolis to ourselves. After our visit, we used Johns rental car to explore well beyond the typical tourist range and visted some of the most magestic ancient sites in Turkey. Firstly we climbed the side of a mountain to find Ancient Sagalassos and had it nearly to ourselves. It has a working fountain and easily wins your heart with its wonderful views. The next day we took off for Aphrodisias where we experienced the best preserved ancient stadium in the world. These two sites absolutely mog the more famous Pamukkale and we loved them. With much more to see, stay tuned!
