There are four brand new luxury cruise ships launching in 2025, and we've got the full scoop. Here’s what to know:
✨Viking Vesta: The second in Viking’s bigger ship series, Viking Vesta will still carry just 998 passengers. The adult-only ship will feature guest favorites like the Aquavit Terrace, the panoramic Explorers’ Lounge & The Chef’s Table — plus an added 40 feet in length to accommodate new marine technology.
✨Oceania Allura: The second ship in the line’s Allura class, Allura, will usher in the return of Jacques, the popular namesake restaurant from chef Jacques Pepin. All cabins on the ship will have balconies — including a new category of Concierge Level Solo Verandah staterooms for solo travelers. Completely new on the ship: the Creperie, offering French crepes, Bruxelles waffles, bubble waffles & more.
✨Ritz-Carlton Luminara: The third vessel in the line’s luxury fleet, Luminara is said to offer the highest space ratios at sea (along with sister-ship, Ilma), with all 228 suites boasting private balconies. The ship will have 5 restaurants, six bars and a wine vault — plus the Ritz-Carlton Spa and popular Ritz Kids program.
✨Windstar’s Star Seeker: The ship kicks off an entirely new class of ships for Windstar and will carry just 224 guests. Brand new to the ship: Horizontal Owner’s Suites with wraparound balconies that overlook the aft of the ship. The ship will have five restaurants and continue the line’s partnership with the James Beard Foundation.
