We are traveling around the world for 1 year. We are traveling overland by train to Singapore from Portugal! We are currently in Turkey! We are taking a break from our around the world trip by rail to enjoy almost 2 months in Turkey, exploring nearly the whole country we will be enjoying the metropolis' of Modern Turkey, discovering ancient Greek and Roman cities, exploring the natural beauty and diving into mankind's pre-history past.

We only spent 2 days in Kars but it was plenty of time to explore this wonderful town. Kars is famous for its proximity to Ani, the ruins on the border with Armenia. We show you the best way to get out there and it also happens to be the cheapest way to visit Ani. We explored Kars Castle, the Kars War Museum, and it’s not-so-famous cheese museum.
