The Junkman’s Daughter
This shop was voted one of the 25 best independent stores in the US, and it is considered iconic in Atlanta. Here, you will find a kaleidoscopic array of vintage clothing and accessories as well as costumes, odd collectibles, and wigs. The store has two full floors stocked from floor to ceiling with quirky items that will make you say “What the…?” This is a great place to assemble your Halloween costume or find costumes for a performance, as you will find something original that will make you stand out.

The Elvis Vault
When you visit the Star Bar, this is easy to miss, so look closely. Tucked away in one of the corners is a hidden shrine to Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll; it even has a decorative altar and a throne. You can pay your respects to the King here, perhaps giving a moment of silence or humming the chorus of “Hound Dog.”
The Variety Playhouse
Little Five Points is well known for its art scene, boasting a number of popular theatrical and music venues. The Variety Playhouse is one of the most famous. It is truly a stunning building, with art deco–styling. It was originally a movie theater and now is one of the premier concert halls in the city, showcasing bands in a range of genres from jazz to bluegrass to rock ’n’ roll.

Savage uses only the freshest ingredients and makes its pizzas from scratch every day, which is probably why it is a favorite in the neighborhood.
