Welcome to Akureyri, Iceland! We're exploring the Lake Myvatn area on an independent tour with Saga Travel called the "Lake Mývatn Shore Excursion"... we'll see Godafoss waterfall, an area of "psuedo" craters, Dimmuborgir or the "Dark City" lava formations, the split between two tectonic plates, a steamy sulphur area that was quite smelly, the Sigurgeirs Bird Museum, and lots of awesome scenery along the way!! :D

Welcome to an ambitious adventure that we're calling "Around The World In 80ish Days" which takes us to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Iceland, the British Isles, France, and Bermuda over the course of 81 days of travel and 7 different cruises! This fifth leg of the trip takes us "across the pond" for the first time ever... eleven days onboard Norwegian Prima with two stops in Canada, four days transatlantic, and three stops in Iceland... let's do this thing!! :D
