Hostel Selina Antigua: Best Option for Backpackers and Families

Today we’re going to be talking about Selina hostel in Antigua, Guatemala. Are you guys ready for an adventure? Let’s begin.

Selina Hostel is obviously this really popular chain that is going worldwide right now. It is definitely geared more toward a hostel for backpackers, which at one point, was literally one of the best times of my life. That’s how I traveled.

Hostel Selina Antigua

The cool thing about Selina is that it has a cool restaurant, and it also has a coworking space. And when they first opened up, we kept on hearing all these interesting things about it. Selina is located in Antigua.

To find it, it’s got this little door. You walk on these cobblestone streets, and you look at these tiny little doorways, but when you enter, it’s this enormous space. When you enter the door, this is when you all of a sudden you’re like, oh my God, I cannot believe Antigua has something this enormous inside of it.

So that’s the beauty of Antigua.

Selina Antigua Amenities

Selina Antigua got this huge courtyard. They have a pool, they have this cool kind of bus that you can sit inside. They have a restaurant.

Open to the Public

This is definitely a great place for digital nomads as well, even if you’re not staying there because it is open to the public and you pay, I think, $10 for the day. And they have a whole coworking space in the back. But it is also a hostel. It is a really cool hostel. They have yoga classes, they have all these different classes.

Community Kitchen

They obviously have a community kitchen in the back, where you would bring your own food, so you don’t have to spend money on restaurants as backpackers do. But it is a really cool experience to go.

Me and all my friends with our kids used to go there because they do have a pool and a slide and it is open to the public. When you go and just hang out there and the food is decent, it’s fun.

They’ve got their bar. It’s not an expensive place, so it’s very affordable. And it’s not only made for backpackers, that’s the cool thing about it, but going there with the family and just with your friends, it’s a fun place to visit and it’s just a cool place. I don’t even know if that’s the right way to say it, but it is. It’s got this really cool vibe energy to it. And it’s a great place to just enjoy a drink or go and hang out like your kids run around or if you want to just enjoy it with your friends.
