We Sailed to See a Total Solar Eclipse... and Got Clouds Instead ☁️
Maybe the eclipse was about the friends we made along the way? 😅☀️➡️☁️
We set sail on Viking Saturn for the total solar eclipse. The sky didn't get the memo — full cloud cover, zero eclipse. Viking, on the other hand, showed up 100%: eclipse shots (dark rum, red wine, pineapple juice), the NASA broadcast running on every cabin TV and the big screen in the pool area, an astronomer talk in the Explorers' Lounge, a photographer teaching eclipse photography on the Aquavit Terrace, and eclipse glasses handed out to every guest the night before, just in case.
10/10 effort. 0/10 sky.
