When we stayed outside the White Mountain National park we stayed with a company called Boondockers welcome. It was a little over 45 minutes away but staying in an open field like this allowed us to do whatever we wanted and have no neighbors. This prime location gave us the freedom to stay as long as we wanted for free so we could enter a couple days in a row and see as much as we could.
