We are traveling around the world for one year and totally circumnavigating the world. We are taking the world’s longest train / overland journey from Portugal to Singapore and are currently in Georgia. Nestled into the Caucasus mountains at the border between Europe and Asia, Georgia is a place where tradition meets modernity. We’re so excited to explore everything this country has to offer. If you’re looking to discover must-see spots, taste traditional Georgian food, and uncover hidden gems in Georgia, our month long quest will have it all, so you can decide if you should visit Georgia.

We are currently in Akhaltsikhe, home to the stunning Rabati Castle. This medieval fortress is breathtaking and is certainly worth a visit. This little town near the Turkish border is our first stop in Georgia. We also took a day trip out to the famous Vardzia monastery and show you how to get to Vardzia….. an absolute must see destination for any traveler.
