We are traveling around the world for one year and totally circumnavigating the world. We are taking the world’s longest train / overland journey from Portugal to Singapore and are currently in Georgia. Nestled into the Caucasus mountains at the border between Europe and Asia, Georgia is a place where tradition meets modernity. We’re so excited to explore everything this country has to offer. If you’re looking to discover must-see spots, taste traditional Georgian food, and uncover hidden gems in Georgia, our month long quest will have it all, so you can decide if you should visit Georgia.
You don’t need more than one day in Borjomi. In our one day here we explore ancient ruins with stunning views of the town, strolled the streets and the Borjomi Central Park, to taste the gross spring water. We checked out the mostly undiscovered local museum, and avoid a strange encounter at the cable car before we hiked up to the ferris wheel.
